Aaron Weymann is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kayo Energy (whose mission is to provide broad-based community access to clean and affordable solar energy). He has worked in the solar industry for nearly a decade, beginning his career after completing a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from Brigham Young University. He began his career in California, selling solar energy solutions door-to-door and ending his long days by sleeping on the ground of an unfurnished apartment at night. After Aaron's success, he was invited to play a key role in building out SolarCity’s (i.e., Tesla’s) Direct Sales Channel. Within his first year, he was honored with their prestigious Helios Award for managing the top producing sales office in the company (1200 residential installs), promoted to Sales Director (overseeing a division of 200+ sales consultants); and celebrated for leading the top producing division in the company (3,400 residential installs per year), with the lowest cost of customer acquisition.
Aaron later envisioned the creation of a superior customer experience, through a focus on speed and quality, and personally funded the creation of Kayo Energy in 2019. He began as the company’s “boots-on-the-ground”, selling the company’s first accounts, door-to-door. And since it’s inception, Kayo Energy has grown to become one of the largest residential solar contractors in the United States! Kayo is currently headquartered in Tempe, Arizona with operations in Nevada, Texas, and sales operations in a number of other states within the U.S.A., and continues to expand.
