Your local guide to making energy from the sun! I specialize in residential solar, leveraging a network of high quality local partners to maximize value for my clients and their unique needs.

After years spent working in the small business world, I returned to the classroom to earn a masters in environmental sustainability and became captivated by the largely untapped potential of renewable energy. Fast forward 8 years in the industry, I have truly honed a passion for solar power and in serving my local community. Solar has personally been one of the greatest investments that my family has ever made and I value the opportunity to help other homeowners to improve their livelihoods. As a consultant, I take an educational approach with all of my clients and pride myself on being a well-informed,credible resource for anyone curious about solar. 🌞

Outside of the workplace, I am an avid hiker, camper, backpacker, gardener and aspiring geocacher. I enjoy spending time with my wife, two young daughters, and german shepherd, Murray.

James worked with me to "fight" my HOA who did not want to make getting solar on my roof easy. Fortunately, he new the local laws and advocated on my behalf to make sure I got my solar (which I love)!

I've been sending my referrals to James for awhile now because I know that he will shoot them straight. James is a very honest guy and wants to legitimately help people which sometimes means telling them that solar is not a good fit for their house. He's the real deal so use him to learn about solar!

This has been an interesting experience. The process began very efficiently with the installation coming to fruition much quicker than expected. Then, we seemed to hit a standstill after the system was inspected, waiting on the power company. My trust started to waiver, especially after my production app reported unexpected results. Ultimately, I got activated, everything was resolved by a quick service visit, and I am happy with the products that James recommended and the service I received. I am just glad I don't have to go through the wait again!
