My name is Joey Vega, currently a Mentor in leadership for KOTA. I have been working with Kota Energy Group going on 3 years now and I really enjoy it. I made the decision to join KOTA shorlty before my wife Gaby and myself got married in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. It was a big decision to make because I was leaving a career in UPS, I had a stable job with benefits, a 401K, and a promotion I was leaving behind. Although all that sounds good I didn’t LOVE my job. I clocked in and clocked out. I had the opportunity for a career change working Door to Door selling solar. At first it doesnt sound all that good but because of KOTA’s core values… BECOME, CREATE, AND GIVE. I left a stable job and joined KOTA in April of 2020. Since then it has been the best decision I have ever made. KOTA’s core values showed me how to become a better man for my family and lead me on a path of success by being able to help families save money and go energy independent.
