There are leaders who lead, managers who manage, and then—there’s Brad. Today, Brad went above and beyond the call of ordinary leadership and delivered what can only be described as a masterclass in morale-boosting: he bought me a Dirty Dr. Pepper. Now, for the uninitiated, a Dirty Dr. Pepper isn’t just a drink. It’s a bold, flavor-packed beverage that says, ā€œI could have brought you a regular soda, but I didn’t—I care more than that.ā€ It’s the drink of champions, the refreshment of those who dare to add a little adventure to their caffeine. Brad didn’t have to do this. He could’ve walked by, nodding with that classic manager smile. But no—he saw a team member in the trenches, doing the work, staying the course, and he thought, ā€œYou know what would really lift the spirit here? A Dirty Dr. Pepper.ā€ That’s the kind of situational awareness they don’t teach in business school. This was more than just a beverage—it was a statement. A moment of workplace humanity wrapped in ice, fizz, and a dash of coconut or whatever mysterious magic they put in that drink. So here’s to Brad: not just a boss, but a guy who knows the power of small gestures, good timing, and slightly unorthodox soda orders. 10/10. Would work for again. Would accept another Dirty Dr. Pepper with enthusiasm.

If there were a Nobel Prize for Boss of the Year, mine would win it hands down. Major shoutout to Brad for coming through with a Dirty Dr. Pepper from Sonic after I asked him to grab one on his way back from lunch. He remembered the order from his text messages, nailed the timing, and brought it straight to the conference room like some kind of mid-afternoon hero. No complaints, no eye rolls, just good vibes and great soda! The effort, the execution, and the caffeine delivery were all very much appreciated. Great leadership isn’t just about meetings and strategy—it’s about showing up with your team’s preferred beverages and understanding that sometimes, caffeine and coconut syrup really is the morale boost we need. 9/10 Would absolutely place another order with him. The only reason I’m docking a point is because… no straw. Rookie move—but forgivable.šŸ˜„šŸ„¤
